About

The heart behind my writing...
Living abroad is a curious mix of pain and pleasure.

Culture shock. Loneliness. Awkwardness. Feeling out of place. Wondering where you belong. Wondering if you're making a difference.

But there is also learning, adventure & excitement, growth, exploration, new friendships, and new perspectives.
Sometimes the hard times feel overwhelming.
But you can choose courage and faith, finding beauty in your life overseas.

I'm here to help you do just that!
I'm a Brit who has grown up between three continents, living in England, Laos, and the United States. I've visited many more countries. (Being a pastor-missionary's daughter means that I inherited a love for travel!)

These days, you'll find me in Korea, where I live with my Korean husband (who is also a TCK!).

I've always loved good stories, and my life has been about pursuing them through teaching, writing, and broadcasting. I write most frequently for Adventist Review (formerly Adventist World) magazine and TCKS for Christ. You can also listen to podcasts of my former show from Adventist Radio London here.

When I'm not writing, teaching, or travelling somewhere, you can find me enjoying my other loves: cafes, books, theatre, and good conversations.
